On the heels of Faith No More’s return with an upcoming new record and U.S. tour, Rhino announced Thursday the reissue of two of the band’s classic classic – The Real Thing (1989) and Angel Dust (1992) – as double-disc collections and deluxe vinyl editions to be released on June 9. In addition to featuring the original albums, each set also features a bonus disc of B-sides and live performances. As fans may know, The Real Thing was the band’s major hit record thanks to the rap-metal hybrid smash of “Epic.” Personally, my favorite FNM album from that period before the band’s breakup is Angel Dust, a hard-hitting album with such great tracks as “Midlife Crisis,” “A Small Victory,” “R.V.” and “Be Aggressive.”
