This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Jesus and Mary Chain’s full-length debut Psychocandy. With its noisy and fuzz-laded electric guitar and influences from ’60s pop and the Velvet Underground, Psychocandy is now considered an undisputed classic. On Monday, the Reid brothers announced the North American tour dates to mark the occasion, with the first show taking place in Toronto on May 1.
