From the New York Times...

This is one rare example when a phenomenally successful movie soundtrack deserves a sequel (was anybody really clamoring for the music of Scream 3?). While the 1st Ray features the better- known Ray Charles songs, More Music from Ray also includes "Let's Get Stoned," "Makin' Whoopie," and his immortal version of "America the Beautiful." It also contains recent renderings of "Baby Let Me Hold Your Hand" (with Slash on guitar!) and "Drown In My Own Tears/You Don't Know Me" proving that Brother Ray had not lost a step 'til the end. If there was one reason to own this, it is the elegant duet with jazz diva Betty Carter on the sublime if sexy "Baby It's Cold Outside."
